I am fascinated by the complexity of interactions within ecosystems and the role humans play in those dynamics. This interest led me to agricultural landscapes, which are key environments for food production and biodiversity. My master’s project is part of a long-term (2018-2026) study in the Swiss lowlands, investigating the effects of active restoration on plant and invertebrate diversity in extensively managed grasslands. My thesis specifically focuses on butterfly and flowering plant communities.
