Conservation Biology

Interest and research

My main interests lie in the field of insect and plant communities and their responses to habitat changes.

In my Master thesis I am investigating the links between the plant- and leafhopper communities and the biotic (e.g. vegetation) and abiotic characteristics (e.g. soil nutrient content) of extensively managed grasslands in the Swiss lowlands. This work is part of a wider lowland grassland project, see here.
